DLE implements learning systems around the Moodle™ learning management system (LMS).  This LMS combines authoring capabilities with content delivery, mastery testing, tracking and reporting at several binding levels, allowing users to very quickly and easily create and implement training material in a hybrid/instructor led environment.

Moodle™ is an open source program completely free to all users.  It is widely distributed, used and supported by an active user base in many countries. The Moodle™ LMS is a SCORM compliant platform that will accommodate any SCORM compliant learning module.
